Sicily Unlimited was founded to explore Sicily’s rich history and culture, stimulate discussion, and to promote sustainable links with local people and associations. Born from a desire to move away from negative stereotypes and restrictive practices and concern at the impact of mass tourism, it will celebrate the best of Sicily, while looking to enable new partnerships and exchanges. As our contribution to a greater understanding of Sicilian history and culture, each year we organise a week of talks, visits, and tastings of local food and wine led by experienced tutors who share a love of the island. Founded by the writer and academic Geoff Andrews and drawing on contributions from local associations, Sicily Unlimited will offer an insider’s guide to this fascinating island.
